I'm a hobby wildlife photographer based in Hestra, Sweden. I mainly focus my photo adventures to the nearby surroundings but also travel if I find something interesting to shoot.

Why do I photograph?
To be close to nature and collect great experiences together with the big variety of animals and birds. To get a break and be alone with this extraordinary nature that God has given to us to take care of. I want to show others the beautiful creatures that you usually don't get a chance to see up close.

What do I photograph?
It's almost entirely animals and birds. If I photograph a landscape or a flower I always feel that something is missing. Why not photograph flowers with a roe deer standing next to them!

I have always been interested in animals and especially birds, starting already in early ages:

1994

As a teenager I bought my first camera and soon found out that the birds outside my window were perfect subjects for my photographing. A trip to Kenya aslo fueld the interest in wildlife photo:

Konica Minolta Dimage Z1 - 2003

Lion - Kenya, 2004

I eventually bought an SLR to start to be more serious:

Canon EOS 350D + Sigma 70-300/4-5.6 APO DG - 2007

Mute Swan - Jönköping, 2008

But during 10 years of building a family with three kids I paused my photographing, dreaming about buying really good gear one day and start all over. 2019 was the year to restart my hobby:

Canon EOS 7D + Canon 100-400/4.5-5.6L IS II USM - 2019

Brown Bear - Hälsingland 2020
